Sorted! Sessles February Guide to Events in Melbourne

This month we've got an all star cast & line-ups and I'm excited as hell at all the possibilities for my weekends. I'm also reasonably scared at the prospective costs both monetary and physical: my body will probably be a shell of its former self by months end.

To kick things off, DarkBeat and Sunny will be presenting Lee Burridge on Friday the 10th. Lee is apparently so hardcore that neither Sunny nor Darkbeat could handle presenting the party themselves and I'm sure this one will be a banger with 4 exclusive hours worth of Burridge on his '365' World Tour. Noice!

The following weekend the Good Vibrations Festival takes place on Sunday, February 12 at the Sidney Myer Music Bowl. Headlining is none other than the 'Godfather of Soul' himself, James Brown, alongside Bahamadia, Cuban Bros (live) and a hell of a lot more. There's nothing I love more than hitting the tunes during the day in the beautiful sun and cruising around to hear a bunch of quality acts. Oh Yeah!

But wait, there's more… next weekend Room680 will celebrate their 5th birthday by presenting Satoshi Tomiie. Satoshi has been voted #30 in the world's best 100 DJ's and for those of you who have seen him before you all know why. He is back by popular demand and you can catch him on Friday February 17th at Room nightclub (of course)!

But wait, there's still more... Future Entertainment have once again pulled off a shit hot (where does that expression come from-) line-up for Two Tribes. Due to the Commonwealth Games it won't be on the usual Labour Day weekend, but on Saturday the 25th and hosts the likes of Lee Coombs, Blackstrobe, James Lavelle, Eric Morillo and much much more alongside Melbourne's best local talent (excluding me) ;)

And for those of you who aren't into the big parties and like to laze around on the couch on Sunday afternoons, you're in for a special weekly treat. Headman of Private Function, Dean Millson has organized a new night/day event called Serendipity with Melbourne's local talents, Luke Chable, Jono Fernandez, Keltec, Dan Mangan, Dean Millson and much much more on a weekly rotation. So head down to Altitude on Sundays for some sweet beats and Sunday drinks.

And if none of these events tickle your fancy (because unfortunately 'Tickled' Pink isn't on) - plug in - then check out our events page by clicking the link below.

Happy February!
