Why We Love Global Gathering

Global Gathering is yet another Future Entertainment event, with a line-up that possibly eclipses all others on the calendar.

Where else do you go to catch UK funk heavyweight Mark Ronson sharing top billing with electronic dinosaurs Kraftwerk- What about New York fusion freaks Fischerspooner and Larry T- Felix Da House Cat and The Orb-

Anyone smart enough to secure a ticket to this event may be in danger of sensory overload, with Gorillaz Sound System, Sasha, LA Riots and The Potbelleez rounding off the first line-up announcement.

And for dance aficionados that's the equivalent of being locked alone in a lolly shop after dark.

The festival was born in the UK, where it is hosted by the same team that gives the world God's Kitchen. When it first arrived in 2001, Judge Jules, Tiesto, Armin and Tall Paul lead the DJ charge, alongside Danny Rampling, Lisa Lash, Roni Size and MJ Cole.

Global Gathering now boasts 8 countries on the circuit and line-ups that read like a who's who of the electronic music scene.

It has set the pace for festivals everywhere, and is truly a worldwide phenomenon.
