Legendary New York disco house pioneer Danny Krivits enjoyed the wildest New Years Eve of his life 25 years ago, he revealed this week as he prepared for three Manhattan sets he'll be spinning this December 31st.

"In 1976 I took a girl to the world's biggest disco at the Coliseum (a huge show room in Manhattan)," Danny recalled. "There was a riot but luckily we were not hurt."

This year, he kicks off at GBH's Centro-Fly bash (10pm-11.45) before relocating to the NYD Club (Joy), where he plays a 5 hour set from 6am to 11am. He concludes his busy New Year schedule with a New Year's Day afternoon set at John Davis' party art Club Spa between 2 and 5pm (Danny Krivit: Grass Roots; Musical Influences and Inspiration is out now on Strut Recordings)
