System 7 are set to release a new album Mysterious Traveller shortly, entirely consisting of System 7 collaborations with Derrick May. The eagerly anticipated album will include unreleased material, new remixes and remastered versions of the originals.

"We think it's going to be a very interesting record, not least because Mr May, as is well known, has not found it easy to do much music on his own for the last decade- partly because he's so busy as a DJ," Steve Hillage told Skrufff last year.

"The stuff he's done with us is really the only large body of work he's done for quite a while. It's a bit of a treasure."

System 7 are also playing several live dates in the UK over the next couple of months culminating with a special performance at Glastonbury Festival's Glade Stage (under the name of Loophead). Mysterious Traveller is scheduled for release on July 15.
