Sensation Comes To Australia For NYE

Acclaimed Dutch dance event Sensation White will make its debut in Australia this year, coming to Melbourne's Telstra Dome for New Year's Eve 08/09, with Dutch house superstar Fedde Le Grand the first act confirmed for the line-up.

The show, which now travels the world to more than 22 countries, is renowned for its unrivalled levels of production, with the emphasis placed upon creating a unique experience with a spectacular theatrical show, rather than just hiring the world's biggest DJs. At a VIP media launch at Telstra Dome on Wednesday 23 July, Sensation CEO Duncan Stutterheim revealed that Sensation had signed a five year deal with the Dome, Melbourne's largest venue, to host the annual event, and assured those present that Australia would see the same renowned stage show as those hosted in Europe.

While they're still keeping tight lipped about the rest of the line-up, word is that the party will feature a number of high profile local DJs, with a music policy traversing electro/club and house.
