Bangalter's new track 'One More Time' is Daft Punk's first new track since 1998's Revolution and is already creating a buzz following an early play on Pete Tong's Radio 1 Essential Selection. "We've got 30 copies that are going to be mailed out over the next few weeks to key people and old skool Daft Punk fans like the Soma boys," Virgin's Caroline Prothero told 7 magazine. "We will be releasing more to DJs as the campaign kicks in. The crux of the matter is that Daft Punk have a lot of control over what
happens."
Alan Braxe's new single 'Running' (co-produced with Fred Falke), meanwhile, has been signed to Virgin sister label Credence (EMI) after already selling 60,000 vinyl copies on Braxe's own label Vulture. Simple, catchy and as accessibly instant as the Stardust collaboration, 'Running' has been championed by DJs including Fatboy Slim, Eric Morillo and even Seb Fontaine throughout the summer and is virtually guaranteed to be a major UK hit.
