Thieves who stripped everything from the LA studio of Brian BT Transeau also took most of his upcoming 4th album, reports on BT's personal site announced this week.

The American progressive trance producer lost all of his computers, synthesizers and hard drives in the robbery as well as the master tapes of recordings for his upcoming album, including collaborations with Peter Gabriel and Way Out West. Having failed to maintain off-site backups, the loss of his music is potentially even greater than the value of his hardware, which sources estimated to be around US$100,000,

Transeau had been in the UK at the time of the incident and is offering a "huge reward and no questions asked" to anyone with information on the crime. His contact address is: BTRobbery@bt-network.org
