SugarCandy Backtrack On Home's 'Disastrous' Future

London club promoters SugarCandy have issued a new press release apologising for their announcement last week that they'd cancelled their planned residency at Home, fearing 'disastrous consequences'. "Sugarcandy regret the insinuation and harm caused by this recent press release, there was never any intention to affect Home's reputation," the new release said. "(It was meant) to protect their own (ie Sugar Candy's) position due to circumstances beyond their control." Home endorsed and contributed to the new release, which was labelled as "Setting the Record Straight for Both Parties".

"The truth is that Home sincerely regrets that, due to a new residence based policy starting in March, the Sugarcandy residency has not been able to be fulfilled," Home said. "Home considers Sugarcandy as one of the most exciting club nights in London clubland and hope that in different circumstances they can work together some time in the future."

Home added that they'll be announcing their new resident promoters shortly, while SugarCandy promised to "unveil their next move in clubland, imminently".
