Scumfrog "Bootleg" Threatens to Revive David Bowie

Roger Sanchez protege Jesse Houk aka The Scumfrog looks poised to give David Bowie his biggest hit for years, with what's effectively a remix of Loving The Alien, an obscure Bowie track from 1985.

Keeping Bowie's original melancholic vocals largely intact, The Dutch producer has layed down an accessible, foot tapping house beat and the result is set to receive a full scale release from EMI/Positiva in April. Radio-friendly, catchy and surprisingly effective, the track could spark renewed interest in the Thin White Duke, whose remains best known and admired for his music pre 1980.
