"There's a French nutcase that follows me around and takes pictures of the back of my head and sends the pictures to Warp," said Mark,
"It's like a pantomime but he really is behind me."
The acid house pioneer, whose first single in 7 years Freak is presently wooing techno and electro dancefloors, also revealed he's supremely indifferent to the plight of dance culture's superclub brands.
"The whole superclub thing was a right pile of toss [rubbish- slang ed]," said Mark.
"I've got nothing against furry bras, trust me, but paying lots of money to get in, wearing my shirt open to the waist and having fake tan on my collar…. no thanks."
However, the Leeds based innovator (who took a break from recording to produce albums for Bjork and Depeche Mode) conceded he'd only visited his local superclub Gatecrasher once 'when my ex made me'.
"It was terrible, it had absolutely nothing to do with the music," he recalled.
"It was like a big Sharon and Tracy club."
LFO's Freak is out now on Warp Records; His (equally excellent) new album Sheath comes out on September 22.
