Legendary US dance producers Tom Tom Club will be flying into London later this month to headline Return To New York's first anniversary party at the Great Eastern Hotel (alongside underground punk icon Jayne County and Errol Alkan.

Chatting to Benedetta Skrufff the last time they played London two years ago, the former Talking Heads duo admitted they found the 90s relatively tough, though stressed they'd never lost their passion for gigs.

"Playing live is an intense experience for sure, you know it's like when those famous rock stars talk about the intensity of sexual feeling when they're performing, well it's like that on all levels," said Tina Weymouth.

"It's like being a sensitive instrument. You're picking up a flow of current of energy from the band, from the audience, from the music that you're playing, it's emotional and not something you can learn from books."
