Kashpoint king Matthew Glamorre confirmed this week that he'll be rigorously enforcing his 'extremely strict' dress code policy at next week's party at London's Tattershall Castle paddle-steamer, making absolutely no exceptions for friends or VIPs.

"Anybody that looks dull doesn't get in, you have to have shown imagination and thought about what you're going to wear, it doesn't matter who you are," he stressed.

"I'm not here to torment people with the door policy, I do it because there's a totally different atmosphere inside the club when you stop letting boring people in, it's fantastic," Matthew continued.

"I've decided that I want a club with areally strict door policy because it's all about non-conformity, because conformity of dress is the most personal statement a person can make of where they stand. It's not about fancy dress and it's not about fashion, it's about personal creativity and it's a political statement."

At last month's event, Matthew turned away 60 people out a crowd of 300, and he insists that next week he's expecting to turn away even more.

"People don't realise quite what a serious fucking job dressing up is," he added.

"The general public gets frightened because by dressing up because you show them that times are changing and also that you have the guts to stand up against conformity, which reflects upon them so that they start to see their own cage. The idea of flamboyance is to show others their imprisonment."
