Uber-flamboyant London club impresario Matthew Glamorre told Skrufff he's putting his weekly event Kashpoint on hold, this week, bowing out with an Easter special extravaganza on Maundy Thursday (April 8).

"Kashpoint is finishing as a weekly event, because I've got so much work on with the label and Kashpoint TV that I can't afford the time to keep doing it weekly," Matthew explained.

"We'll still be doing one-off special events up until the summer then taking it from there."

Next Thursday's event takes place at Kashpoint's last but one venue Moonlighting, in Soho, and comes with a typically tasteful concept for the night.

"The theme is Champagnes for Chapeaux, everyone is being encouraged to wear big hats for our hat-parade and for our hat-walk show, it's Easter bonnets, with free bubbly (champagne- slang Ed) for bona bonnets," Matthew promised.

"People can either get there at normal disco time or arrive earlier from about 6ish, for the Top Of The Pops shoot, which will happen before the club opens. There are dressing facilities at the club too, for anyone who wants to dress up when they get there."
