Ex Rhythm Master Steve Mac, who recently teamed up with Mutiny to form The Show, this week announced details of a talent search for unknown singers, offering the winner the opportunity to record a track on their upcoming debut artist album.

"Basically, we're doing an album and we want a new vocalist to play with," said Steve.

"For the vocalist, anything goes really - as long as they can sing of course. We want to make this album fun, be a bit different and maybe discover someone new, who knows what we'll come out with-"

As well as producing over 200 remixes as one half of the Rhythm Masters, Mac is well known as a top level UK house DJ, though he stressed The Show's new material will be much broader.

"We're not going to stick to our house roots on the album, we want to take it the indie and hip hop way too," said Steve,

"Sometimes you need to experiment with other music to keep you on your toes."

Singers are being invited to send demos, with the best 20 then being called for a live audition at Steve's brand new state-of-the-art studio in Brighton. Closing date is March 31: the address is below:

FAO: Mutiny/The Show, Studio 207, Biz Space, 99-103 Lomond Grove, London, SE5 7HN. Closing date: March 31st. The best 20 will then be called for a live audition.
