The Sunday Times highlighted T. Raumschmiere's record label Shitkatapult in their annual round-up of 'next big things' last week, though suggested his style of music is 'less likely to go mainstream' than emo (US straight-edge hardcore rock).

"'Shuffle' (apparently named after Cologne's Schaffel scene) takes the fad of DJs mixing rock tracks with dance on step further, creating a sound somewhere between the Glitter Band's 1970s stomp and banging techno," the paper said.

"Want to know more- The labels to watch are Kompakt and the charmingly named Shitkatapult."

Shitkatapult owner T. Raumschmiere is unlikely to be too thrilled about the accolade, however.

"It feels good to see that my music is developing and growing and it's good to have fans, but I hate trends," the previously labelled 'electropunk' Berlin producer told Skrufff last year.

"Everybody writes punk rock on their flags and wears weird haircuts and studded belts but still they're nothing more than yuppies."
