UK music mag, Gigwise, recently reported how Fatboy Slim was repeatedly shocked (literally) during his NYE Brighton Beach gig.

The DJ, together with 20,000 fans, were caught in torrential rain as the year drew to an end, and as Fatboy Slim AKA Norman Cook quickly discovered when using his DJ equipment, water and electricity don't mix paticularly well.

Not sure whethere it was due to the shock treatment or reasons unknown, but chances are his profile will be significantly lower this year after deciding to take a break from production to concentrate on DJing.

He said, "It'll be a quiet one for Fatboy this year. It feels right that, after 10 years and so many albums, we should give it a rest for a while."

All is not lost, and to quote a track name from his last album, 'Don't Let the Man Get You Down'. A cagey Cook hinted at some upcoming projects including composing a song for an upcoming Disney movie with Danny Elfman of The Simpson's theme music fame (to name just one project Elfman's worked on)

'Right Here, Right Now'...that is all to report
