Yes folks, Sydney is becoming (more of) a police state after the government imposed a 2am lockout on what they deem “problem pubs”, as well as enforcing strict drink limits such as shots and beer glasses being banned after midnight. Some of the local venues subjected to these new licensing laws include Cargo Bar, Home Nightclub, Oxford Hotel, Exchange Hotel, Arq, Taylor Square Hotel, Stonewall Hotel, Coogee Bay Hotel, Bondi Hotel, The Eastern, Mona Vale Hotel and Northies, with more to be subjected in the future. We’re all for partying safe but being parented by the government- Hell no.
