Sam Sparro Plays Oxford Art Factory
Tuesday, 10 June 2008
When Australian born, US based Sam Sparro
dropped his single Black and Gold (Sparro was unavailable to confirm rumours the song is an ode to discount supermarket products) earlier this year, it debuted at number two on the UK charts. It's hardly surprising, seamlessly blending Prince
funk and clean electro. With a major tour planned later this year, the kids at Jam
are bringing Sparro out in July for a few, intimate showcases to get the buzz out. Catch Sparro at the Oxford Art Factory Wednesday 16 July. Tickets go on sale tomorrow (10 June) through Moshtix.
